About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing processes with a focus on cGMP compliance and aseptic proficiency
- Accurately document batch record activities and maintain high standards of documentation reliability
- Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean complex production equipment for injectables or polymer bulking
- Perform aseptic interventions and maintain clean room standards, including strict adherence to gowning protocols
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with increasing independence
- Conduct visual and physical checks of in-process and finished products
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and deviation investigations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- STEM Bachelor’s Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience:
- Non-STEM degree with 1+ years of technical/manufacturing experience
- Technical Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of technical/manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of technical/manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and ability to work in a clean room environment
- Strong mathematical calculation and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Lean Six Sigma certification
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay ($29.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience)
- Shift differentials available (B Shift: $2.50/hr; D Shift: $4.50/hr)
