About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple operating divisions within the aerospace and defense manufacturing sector
  • Maintain full P&L accountability for assigned business units, ensuring margin optimization and cost efficiency
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead initiatives in production performance, supply chain management, and process optimization
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and program management to accelerate innovation and delivery
  • Develop and execute business strategies to support sustainable growth and market expansion
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership while building high-performing teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
  • Proven success in senior operational or general management roles with full P&L responsibility
  • Extensive background in Aerospace or defense manufacturing
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and diverse product portfolios
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced business education
