Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of operational personnel to ensure production plan compliance.
• Monitor key performance indicators including FPY, scrap, downtime, and safety metrics.
• Execute corrective actions and manage deviations with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Manage human and material resources to maintain operational continuity and manage absenteeism.
• Coordinate operational meetings (Tier 1, 2, and 3) and communicate daily performance results.
• Ensure proper shift startup and personnel assignment based on skill matrices.

Requirements

• Technical degree or engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).
• Experience supervising personnel within metal-mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of production indicators such as FPY, scrap, efficiency, and safety.
• Proficiency with continuous improvement tools including 5S and root cause analysis.
• Conversational English skills with the ability to read and write.
• Ability to work shifts and maintain a constant presence on the production floor.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
