Manufacturing Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the headquarters supply chain and the Salt Lake City manufacturing facility to align production schedules with corporate demand.
• Manage end-to-end material flow, ensuring zero production downtime due to shortages while minimizing excess inventory.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including dock-to-stock and dock-to-customer activities.
• Develop and execute strategic labor models and staffing schedules to meet fluctuating production demands.
• Coordinate daily and weekly production floor activities to achieve monthly shipment targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
• Prepare and implement the departmental budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of manufacturing and/or electronics experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining remote-to-headquarters alignment in electronics manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, procurement cycles, and logistics management.
• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplined teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to translate corporate KPIs into actionable floor-level plans.
