Manufacturing Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing work activities and resources to meet cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
• Oversee daily workflows, schedules, and assignments for the manufacturing team to ensure departmental coordination.
• Analyze and review budgets, prepare annual plans, and ensure adherence to set expenditures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement efficient production processes to enhance quality and capacity.
• Set, measure, and report on KPIs related to manufacturing performance, yield, labor, material costs, and safety.
• Implement preventative maintenance procedures and quality control programs to uphold equipment and material integrity.
• Ensure plant compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise department personnel to foster a positive team environment.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and collaborate with suppliers, logistics, and design teams to ensure smooth production cycles.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems and performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of safety and health regulations and the ability to instill a culture of safety.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work flexible shifts if necessary.
