About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight, coordination, and planning for manufacturing operations to ensure production plans are executed safely and on schedule
- Direct and support operators through critical manufacturing processes, including monitoring performance, quality control, and yields
- Perform, monitor, and document critical processes and routine validation protocols in accordance with established procedures
- Serve as a liaison between operators and manufacturing management, escalating issues related to safety, materials, equipment, or systems
- Inspect operator work and maintain accurate documentation related to production output, yields, and rejects
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including PPE requirements, ISO, OSHA, and internal quality systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Quality, and R&D to resolve equipment and process issues
- Support the transition of new products into manufacturing and recommend process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment
- Working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and equipment operation
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move packages and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
