About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and overcome production system constraints using lean tactics and data analytics
- Conduct assessments of processes and practices to ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable feedback on assessment results
- Develop strategies, plans, and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies
- Bridge the gap between management and operations by conducting regular Gemba walks
- Manage capital portfolios, including forecasting, prioritizing opportunities, and building business cases
- Lead quality projects in a manufacturing environment to reduce defects
- Communicate project implementation and status updates to all stakeholders and leadership
- Partner with Engineering and Value Stream teams to complete continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis
- 1+ years of experience in a role requiring effective communication with employees, customers, and leadership
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years of related work experience (for Level 4 candidates)
- Lean certification (e.g., Six Sigma, 3P, or Accelerated Improvement Workshop)
- 1+ years of experience in project management
- 1+ years of experience working in a production environment
- Ability to work on variable shifts as needed
