Manufacturing Operation Technician

Responsibilities

• Improve production flow and address factory bottlenecks using Samsung-specific scheduling and reporting systems
• Conduct intermediate data analysis of manufacturing metrics such as tool output, rundown, and WPD
• Perform root cause investigations and troubleshooting for production roadblocks
• Communicate status updates and production needs effectively to upper-level management
• Act as a team leader within the department and serve as a backup supervisor as needed
• Work a compressed 12-hour night shift schedule (alternating 3 and 4 days per week)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Intermediate computer skills, including a typing ability of at least 30 WPM
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to follow and create documented operating procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
• Familiarity with manufacturing metrics such as queue times, TAT, and movement
