About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall manufacturing operations to meet production targets and business objectives
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and direction to the production team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost, reduce waste, and improve throughput
- Oversee workforce planning, training, and development of production teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions
- Lead product line setup and support New Product Introduction (NPI) for scalable production readiness
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to EHS standards
- Lead problem-solving efforts and drive root cause analysis for production issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a related field
- 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing
- 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or people management role
- Proven experience in a high-mix, high-volume electromechanical assembly environment
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
