Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing activities across multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develop and execute business plans, policies, procedures, and technical strategies
• Acquire resources and provide technical management of suppliers
• Lead process improvement initiatives and oversee technical approaches, products, and processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
• Manage, develop, and motivate team members on the 3rd shift

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management) or completion of Boeing's "Exploring Leadership" course

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Compliance
• 3+ years of experience using Quality Management Systems (QMS) or the Boeing Production System (BPS)
• 3+ years of experience reviewing engineering drawings and manufacturing plans
