Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing activities across multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develop and execute business plans, policies, procedures, and technical strategies
• Acquire resources and provide technical management of suppliers
• Lead process improvements and oversee technical approaches, products, and processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
• Manage, develop, and motivate team members

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• More than one year of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• More than one year of experience in lean processes and initiatives
• More than one year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and hourly union-represented workforces
• Experience working with satellites, satellite subsystems, or Satellite Systems Engineering groups
• Experience leading diverse teams and initiatives to meet business objectives and influence change
