Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations including scheduling, staffing, and resource planning
• Ensure production goals are met for output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery
• Manage Production Managers and Supervisors, leading a workforce of 60–150 hourly employees
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to resolve production barriers
• Track and report on KPIs including productivity, safety, and labor performance

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience managing multi-department production operations with 50+ hourly employees
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS, NetSuite, IFS)
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Experience in custom-engineered equipment or electrical systems industries
