Manufacturing Manager II, Machining

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of the machine shop including safety, quality, compliance, delivery, and cost
• Manage CNC milling and turning operations for prototype and production programs
• Drive safety culture and compliance with AS9100/ISO standards
• Build and maintain capacity models for machine and labor hours
• Translate company goals into machining roadmaps for yield, lead time, and cost
• Lead departmental transformation initiatives including automation and ERP/MES rollouts
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering on DFM improvements and cycle-time reduction
• Hire, develop, and retain high-performing machinists and leads

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8–12+ years of manufacturing experience
• 5+ years in a management role
• Proven ownership of multi-cell or site-level machining operations
• Experience with capacity planning and capital investment decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA or MS)
