Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a team of manufacturing supervisors and production workers
• Ensure department production schedules and targets are met while monitoring processes
• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures
• Enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles and data-driven approaches
• Manage allocation of materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize efficiency
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to manage spare parts and prevent equipment downtime
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production performance
• Plan workforce requirements, including overtime and shift schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Significant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within manufacturing
• Proficiency in manufacturing software such as ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for prolonged periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
