Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a team of manufacturing supervisors and production workers
• Ensure department production schedules and targets are met while monitoring processes
• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures
• Enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and execute lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage allocation of materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality, and inventory
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to manage spare parts and prevent equipment downtime
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive informed decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Lean Manufacturing Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
• CPIM certification by APICS
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, CAD/CAM software, and ISO standards
