Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead staff selection, training, oversight, and professional development for manufacturing associates and technicians
• Ensure production areas and procedures remain in strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Manage schedule adherence for manufacturing, qualification, and maintenance activities
• Act as a role model in Lean culture and continuous improvement programs on the manufacturing floor
• Elevate critical events to senior management and make real-time processing decisions
• Oversee standard operating procedures (SOP) accuracy and ensure accurate batch record reviews
• Utilize systems such as SAP, QMTS, and LIMS to manage job duties and identify process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Quality, Engineering, and Regulatory to close investigations and introduce new products

Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s + 3 years of drug product manufacturing/operations experience OR Bachelor’s + 5 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR HS + 12 years
• Proven experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, and programs
• Experience in drug product manufacturing or operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of biopharmaceutical experience, including 3 years of leadership in drug product manufacturing
• Experience within aseptic and sterile filling environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts and their application in regulated environments
