Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Identify equipment trends, analyze machine problems, and initiate corrective actions to ensure continuous production
• Coordinate maintenance efforts between operations and engineering functions
• Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and manage spare parts inventory
• Utilize plant systems such as SAP, MES, and OpCon to manage work orders and process parameters
• Follow all plant safety and environmental policies to maintain a clean and orderly work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or machining
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems (mechatronics)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and print-reading
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens and Allen Bradley experience is a plus)
• Detailed knowledge of Staubli and Omron robots, vision systems, and Profibus
• Proficiency with SAP work order and spare parts systems
• Ability to communicate technical instructions effectively and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines (drives, axes, etc.)
• Programming experience with PLCs
• Knowledge of heat treat or chroming operations
