About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, including CNC, mills, lathes, engines, and motors
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Respond quickly to machine repair requests and adjustments to minimize downtime
- Manage maintenance inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders for necessary parts and supplies
- Document all repairs, parts usage, and material consumption at the end of each shift
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with EPA and OSHA standards
- Identify potential health and safety hazards and implement appropriate control measures
- Support general facility maintenance including painting and basic plumbing
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a trades curriculum at a recognized technical school
- Experience with manual and power-driven tools and machine shop equipment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
