About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the manufacturing team to execute production, maintenance, quality, EHS, and training activities
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction strategies to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Manage and track activities and budgets related to maintenance, process improvements, and manufacturing equipment
- Ensure compliance with Carrier Excellence, Quality Management Systems (ISO), and EHS requirements
- Support new product introduction (NPI) through participation in PMO, Passport, and PCR activities
- Manage tooling and manufacturing resources to ensure stable and efficient operations
- Document and maintain process standards, procedures, and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field
- Approximately 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, project execution, and budget management
- Proven experience in personnel management
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Technical knowledge of High Frequency Induction Welding (HFIW) and aluminum tubing induction welding
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Core Tools (PF, PFMEA, Control Plan, MC)
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Familiarity with Carrier manufacturing systems and governance
