About the Company

Antares is on a mission to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt by building mass-producible, inherently safe, deployable microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineering and technician teams
• Develop and mature core manufacturing processes from prototype through production
• Establish scalable, repeatable, and robust processes for reactor components
• Lead facility layout planning, equipment installation, and commissioning
• Determine manufacturing headcount, staffing plans, and capacity utilization
• Track manufacturing performance against schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity and quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations
• 3+ years in a people leadership role
• Experience developing processes for complex or high-reliability products
• Demonstrated experience with facility layout and production ramp-up
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support milestones

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear, aerospace, or energy industries
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with advanced materials and precision fabrication
• Experience scaling manufacturing from low-rate to high-volume production
