About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with technical standards and client requirements
- Perform dimensional, visual, and documentary verifications during production stages
- Accompany tests and releases, identifying non-conformities and reporting deviations
- Control quality of materials, equipment, and processes to ensure technical specifications and safety requirements are met
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and industrial plans
- Knowledge of metrology and use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges)
- Familiarity with technical standards such as ABNT and ISO 9001
- Experience in quality control and production process inspection
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, metallurgy, assembly, or automotive industries
- Experience with internal audits
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or higher in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- CQI (Certified Quality Inspector) certification or specialized quality courses
- Mastery of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 5W2H, and Ishikawa
