Manufacturing Group Leader - Fuel Pellets

Responsibilities

• Lead a production group responsible for manufacturing uranium dioxide ceramic fuel pellets and assembly for nuclear propulsion.
• Guarantee delivery schedules while strictly adhering to Safety, Security, Environment, Health, and Quality standards.
• Act as a key liaison for Methods, Quality, Maintenance, and Radiation Protection departments.
• Manage and supervise a team of approximately 20 employees, including resource allocation and performance reviews.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects within the production tool.
• Manage the operational budget and workforce planning in accordance with established targets.
• Maintain production process qualifications and ensure adequate supply of consumables.

Requirements

• Generalist Engineer degree.
• Practical experience in industrial production, operations, or methods.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work on-site in Cadarache, with occasional shifts in a 2x8 rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within the nuclear industry.
• Knowledge of naval propulsion fuel or ceramic manufacturing processes.
