Manufacturing Floater

Responsibilities

• Support multiple workstations across molding and finishing departments to ensure consistent production flow
• Set up and operate injection molding, CNC, and waterjet machines according to work orders and engineering specifications
• Perform die and mold changes following established setup procedures
• Inspect tooling for damage and monitor machine performance to minimize downtime
• Conduct quality inspections, trim flash, and finish panels to meet quality standards
• Accurately record labor, material usage, and scrap in the ERP system
• Maintain housekeeping, 5S standards, and safe work practices
• Serve as a backup to the team leader when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience working with injection molding machinery
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production reporting
• Physical capability to lift, load, and handle heavy, cumbersome raw materials and finished goods
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC routing or waterjet machines
• Previous experience in a CNC-focused manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures
