About the role
Responsibilities
- Update manufacturing operating procedures as required by new technology or design developments
- Prepare process orientation and technical training for new build and retrofit clients
- Travel globally to support new build and retrofit client needs, including design reviews and on-site start-up support
- Provide manufacturing expertise to licensees in response to operating inquiries
- Participate in start-up teams at licensee sites for periods of 6–9 months, managing commissioning activities and punch lists
- Stay current with Unipol technology developments and participate in technology reviews
- Support special runs for product/catalyst development and data gathering
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Expertise in at least one major Unipol process area (e.g., feed purification, reaction/purging, vent recovery, additive addition, or pelleting)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including potential international relocation for 4–6 months for commissioning assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Gas Phase Polyethylene Technology
- Experience with commissioning activities, logic checks, and punch list closure
- Understanding of Univation Process Design Package (PDP) layout and content
