Manufacturing Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain facility layouts, floor plans, and utility plans using AutoCAD
• Analyze workflow, material flow, and equipment placement to improve manufacturing efficiency
• Plan and coordinate process utilities including compressed gases, water, and waste lines
• Support electrical planning for manufacturing equipment and point-of-use power drops
• Lead small-to-medium facility modification projects from planning through implementation
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for facility projects
• Maintain facility records, occupancy data, and project documentation

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• 4–8 years of experience in facility planning or manufacturing layout planning
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial environments
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret facility drawings and utility requirements
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting clean rooms, laboratories, or technically controlled environments
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement
• Experience with project management software like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
• Familiarity with CAFM, IWMS, or CMMS platforms
