Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement projects to deliver annual targets and sustain the Ball Manufacturing Excellence (BME) management system
• Develop and maintain a Plant Manufacturing Excellence Master plan to support short and long-term business objectives
• Lead business-critical cross-functional projects to deliver savings in specified cost categories
• Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement activities using Lean tools such as VSM, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and TPM
• Serve as a change agent and coach at all levels using GROW coaching techniques
• Lead problem-solving projects by training and facilitating teams in effective root cause analysis
• Analyze data sets from Manufacturing Execution and Quality Systems using statistical tools to identify trends
• Manage the plant's best practices program and maintain the Manufacturing Excellence capital hopper

Requirements

• University degree in Science, Engineering, or Business
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of Lean tools and systems, with a demonstrated portfolio of leading Lean projects
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is essential (Black Belt preferred)
• Proficiency in statistical process control and data analysis
• Experience with advanced statistical tools such as DOE or ANOVA is desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
