Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement projects to deliver annual targets and sustain the Ball Manufacturing Excellence (BME) management system
• Develop and maintain a Plant Manufacturing Excellence Master plan to support short and long-term business objectives
• Lead business-critical cross-functional projects to deliver savings in specified cost categories
• Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement activities using Lean tools such as VSM, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and TPM
• Act as a change agent and coach at all levels using GROW coaching techniques
• Lead problem-solving projects by training and facilitating teams in effective root cause analysis
• Examine data sets from Manufacturing Execution and Quality Systems using statistical tools to identify trends
• Manage the plant's best practices program and maintain the Manufacturing Excellence capital hopper

Requirements

• University degree in Science, Engineering, or Business
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing industry
• Strong expertise in Lean tools and a demonstrated portfolio of leading Lean project management
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Essential) or Black Belt certification (Desirable)
• Proficiency in statistical process control and data analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Computer literacy in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced statistical tools such as DOE and ANOVA
• Ability to effectively engage and involve individuals at all levels of the organization
