Manufacturing Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technician-level support for manufacturing equipment, including adhesive dispense systems, robot gantries, laser welders, and vision systems
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting production issues
• Develop and manage a full maintenance program, including preventative schedules and spare parts inventory
• Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for equipment operation
• Support engineering teams with line setup, process validation, and root cause investigations
• Implement equipment and process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and throughput
• Train operators and associates on equipment use during steady-state production

Requirements

• Experience working with high-tech manufacturing tools and automation
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment handling complex equipment
• Familiarity with basic tools and facilities equipment (drills, soldering irons, wire crimping, etc.)
• Ability to take full ownership of projects with minimal direction
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation
• Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50lbs
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with battery cells or adhesive dispense systems
• Experience with laser weld equipment
• Background in machining and fabrication
• Forklift or other powered equipment certification
