Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Build, set up, and execute equipment fabrication on manufacturing lines
• Assemble, install, and maintain test infrastructure including fixtures, sensors, and power supplies
• Operate equipment and ensure safe handling of high-voltage systems
• Collect, organize, and document test data and observations
• Perform failure triage and support root-cause investigations through teardowns
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through assembly and troubleshooting
• Maintain build documentation, work instructions, and change logs
• Manage lab inventory and validate high-voltage electrical sub-systems

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience in a lab, manufacturing, or test environment
• Experience working with high-voltage systems (400–2000VDC and 480–800VAC)
• Strong hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, wiring, and instrumentation
• Proficiency in following procedures and maintaining detailed documentation
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions
• Manual dexterity for precision soldering and microscope work
