Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and validation for HVAC manufacturing lines, including brazing, assembly, leak testing, and electrical integration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through process design, PFMEA, control plans, and tooling requirements.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing cycle times, labor efficiency, and line balancing.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity and consistency.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for complex HVAC system issues such as refrigeration performance and airflow optimization.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) of new products.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for process deviations.
• Support capital expenditure projects, including equipment specification and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven expertise in HVAC or refrigeration systems manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and heat exchangers.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt preferred).
• Proficiency in CAD systems and manufacturing documentation tools.
