About the role
Responsibilities
- Improve vehicle design to enable stable, ergonomic, and high-volume manufacturing processes
- Identify and implement technical manufacturing requirements to influence product design
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, production control, and engineering teams
- Use CAD data analysis, simulations, and virtual tests to identify manufacturing risks
- Ensure product designs meet assembly requirements and minimize rework in series production
- Provide instruction and guidance regarding required techniques and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Three years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related occupation
- Experience with automotive engineering processes and validation testing
- Proficiency in creating DFMEA, PFMEA, Boundary Diagrams, and Control Plans
- Experience with CATIA V5 and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of GD&T and BOMs
