Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and train the Manufacturing Engineering team in continuous improvement and standardization
• Oversee sourcing, design, and installation of new equipment and manufacturing cells
• Evaluate process capabilities to ensure optimal quality, utilization, and efficiency
• Utilize root cause analysis to implement and validate corrective actions
• Drive equipment and process standardization across all manufacturing plants
• Manage capital investment in manufacturing capacity and capability
• Participate in the product development process to evaluate design for manufacturability
• Maintain organized and safe work areas using 6S guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations
• Experience managing and implementing manufacturing process and equipment projects
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and quality systems (ISO 9001:2015 preferred)
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar modeling software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Epicor or other ERP software
• Ability to travel approximately 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC equipment
• Demonstrated experience leading data analytics for strategic decision making
