About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers.
  • Oversee assembly line operations for the Air-Cooled Value Stream, ensuring equipment reliability and process efficiency.
  • Drive productivity improvement projects to reduce cycle times, waste, and costs while improving quality and throughput.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and Operational Excellence methodologies to optimize processes.
  • Act as a technical expert during unplanned plant events, driving the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Oversee the programming, upgrades, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, and MES systems.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or facilities maintenance.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Allen-Bradley Control Logix 5000, Siemens S7 PLCs, and VFD motor controls.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
  • Strong background in applying Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster positive relationships with production employees and management.
