Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing engineering team
• Drive product industrialization through DFMA for boilers, steam systems, and heat pumps
• Design efficient production layouts and implement lean principles to enable production ramp
• Act as the engineering lead for critical suppliers to drive quality and manufacturability
• Standardize manufacturing processes including welding, brazing, and leak testing
• Ensure compliance with ASME, UL/ETL/CSA, and HVAC standards
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Supply Chain, and Operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically with thermal systems, HVAC, or industrial equipment
• 3–5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• Deep expertise in fabrication processes such as welding, brazing, machining, and forming
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, pressure systems, and electro-mechanical assembly
• Proven experience scaling production from pilot builds to full-scale manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

• ASME pressure vessel manufacturing experience
• Background in boilers, steam systems, or industrial heat pumps
• Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing analytics
