About the role
Responsibilities
- Gain first-hand experience in the energy and petrochemical industry through technical activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Support improvement initiatives and programs to achieve safe, reliable, and optimized unit operations
- Investigate equipment failures to ensure recommendations address the root cause with cost-effective mitigations
- Participate in significant development projects and gain insights into operational fundamentals
- Prepare a final presentation or report regarding project delivery and performance for formal review
Requirements
- Currently in the penultimate year of study
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Materials, or Mechanical)
- Willingness to work onsite at manufacturing locations in Jurong Island or Pioneer Road
Preferred Qualifications
- Second Upper Honors or above
- Leadership experience in non-academic areas such as co-curricular activities or National Service
