Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design and refine processes, fixtures, and equipment for assembling battery and inverter systems
• Participate in hands-on prototyping and pilot builds to debug issues and improve manufacturability
• Support factory line layout and workstation design to improve flow, ergonomics, and efficiency
• Help document assembly processes, write work instructions, and support technician training
• Analyze data from prototype and production runs to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement
• Contribute to design reviews with a focus on manufacturability and scalability

Requirements

• Current junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or a graduate student, in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong understanding of mechanical or manufacturing engineering fundamentals
• Passion for hands-on problem solving and building processes that scale

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD
• Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics
