About the role
Responsibilities
- Create BOMs and product structure for existing modules and assemblies
- Write clear, accurate assembly procedures for contract manufacturing partners using existing documentation and product samples
- Manage technology transfer of existing and new designs to contract manufacturers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, optical, operations, and supply chain teams
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with product structures and bill of materials (BOM) management
- Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior co-op or internship experience
- Experience with PDM/PLM software such as SolidWorks PDM, Agile, Arena, Omnify, or Aras PLM
