Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects to troubleshoot and solve errors or problems on production equipment
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow designs for maximum efficiency
• Confer with manufacturing engineers and design staff regarding product design and tooling
• Validate product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, and fixturing
• Consult the engineering team regarding potential suppliers for production equipment and tooling
• Evaluate equipment evolution and perform acceptance evaluations according to specifications
• Validate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to support management decisions
• Oversee projects for existing production and new programs using APQP and Lean principles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 1+ years of engineering experience including leading technical projects
• Knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
• Experience with customer communication systems
• Experience with engineering change systems
