Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration with product engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of assembly and test specifications
• Resolve issues related to drawing interpretation, product design, manufacturing methods, and product performance
• Collaborate with development teams to establish bills of resources, develop routings, and determine production cycle times
• Develop end-of-line test processes and program PLCs using LabView software
• Design test apparatuses including flow meters, pressure transducers, and electrical components
• Lead the development of business cases for capital investment in production processes and equipment
• Participate in root cause analysis using 8D, Lean Six Sigma, and 5 Why methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LabView software
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
