Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and support PCB final assembly and injection molding processes to improve quality, capacity, and capability
• Perform root cause analysis, process capability studies, and implement process controls
• Develop equipment, mold tooling, and process performance requirements, including vendor evaluation
• Execute Design of Experiments (DOE) and capability studies to develop process specifications
• Provide technical support for new product launches, including DFM reviews and establishing process recipes
• Develop process and equipment documentation and provide training to personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field
• 7 years of related manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience with automated final assembly processes for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) technologies
• Expertise in Injection Molding processes, including tool design and maintenance
• Experience executing Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Proficiency in supporting PFMEA and control plans
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification with practical experience
• Experience with industrial controls, including PLCs and Robotics
• Ability to read mechanical CAD drawings and apply GD&T principles
