Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise in equipment maintenance, root cause analysis, control system design, and process optimization.
• Support capital planning, equipment procurement, and project implementation.
• Identify new specifications or technical characteristics required for stamping and manufacturing products.
• Review and assess existing internal capabilities against industry trends.
• Write, review, and modify official technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering (Controls or Automation focus preferred).
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical production equipment and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Studio 5000 and RSLOGIX500.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, drivers, and sensors.
• Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electro-mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Proven track record of success in prior engineering roles.
• Experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
