Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization processes from RFQ through to equipment installation and acceptance
• Prepare technical quotations, cost estimations, and investment budgets
• Develop industrialization plans, layouts, and detailed equipment specifications
• Prepare and manage DFM, PF, and PFMEA for new projects
• Coordinate equipment procurement, design reviews, and supplier follow-up
• Track equipment builds and ensure successful FAT/SAT completion
• Perform cycle time analysis, line balancing, and material flow definition
• Support SOP readiness, improve OEE, and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Utilize AutoCAD for 2D drawings and tolerance analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement regarding productivity, quality, and layout optimization

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
• Proven experience in manufacturing or industrialization (automotive experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and DFM
• Experience managing RFQs, equipment investment, and process setup
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and understanding of 2D drawings
• Fluency in English and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific know-how in headers and connector stitching processes
