Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within a lean manufacturing cell to implement new gas turbine engine component part designs
• Develop and implement process improvements for existing engine designs
• Create estimated process plans and manufacturing process plans
• Develop part detail designs and blueprints
• Perform process development, NC programming, and tool design
• Collaborate with layout specialists to optimize manufacturing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• 0-5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret complex part drawings
• Strong CAD skills (experience with PTC Creo or UG NX is a plus)
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in CNC Programming, tool design, or general manufacturing processes
• A demonstrated interest in gas turbine engine technology
