About the role
Responsibilities
- Work within a lean manufacturing cell to implement new gas turbine engine component part designs
- Develop and implement process improvements for existing engine designs
- Create estimated process plans and manufacturing process plans
- Develop part detail designs and blueprints
- Perform process development, NC programming, and tool design
- Collaborate with layout specialists to optimize manufacturing workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- 0-5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret complex part drawings
- Strong CAD skills (experience with PTC Creo or UG NX is a plus)
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in CNC Programming, tool design, or general manufacturing processes
- A demonstrated interest in gas turbine engine technology
