Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within a lean manufacturing cell to implement new gas turbine engine component part designs
• Develop process improvements for existing component designs
• Create estimated process plans and manufacturing process plans
• Develop part detail designs (blueprints) and perform process development
• Handle NC programming and tool design
• Collaborate with layout specialists to optimize manufacturing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
• 0-5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong CAD skills
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience with materials and processing involving aerospace metals
• Proficiency with UG NX CAD software
