Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control systems and automation solutions for manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, drives, and instrumentation issues
• Optimize machine performance, reliability, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for equipment failures
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities
• Develop and update electrical drawings, control logic documentation, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
• Foundational knowledge in instrumentation principles, control theory, and process automation
• Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and DCS architecture
• Understanding of sensor technologies including pressure, temperature, flow, and vision systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi, or Omron)
• Knowledge of industrial networks and electrical systems
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python or MATLAB
• Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies
