Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement new manufacturing processes, products, and projects using current workforce knowledge and practices
• Perform data analysis to drive quality improvements and develop dashboards using tools like Power BI
• Create standard operating procedures and develop cost-effective engineering solutions, including tooling and fixturing
• Participate in industrial projects through all phases, including pre-studies and volume capacity scenarios
• Perform benchmarking and apply best practices from local and global engineering organizations
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems, minimize risks, and promote a safe working environment

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering Degree program
• Completed at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the co-op
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization in Industrial, Mechanical, or Engineering Design
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
