Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies for airplane assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions.
• Ensure production readiness by identifying risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes and ensuring timely product delivery.
• Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of experience and technical education).
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of work-related experience (for Level 3 candidates).
• Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
• Experience with 3D model-based instruction.
