Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions into the production environment
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans and maintain program architecture for build
• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible definitions
• Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule
• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems
• Implement lean principles and advanced manufacturing technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of experience and technical education)
• U.S. Person status required per export control compliance
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of work-related experience (for Senior level)
• B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with composite fabrication
• Experience supporting defense or aerospace customers
• Proficiency with 3D model-based instruction and tools such as CREO, CATIA, or MES
• Experience reviewing and approving engineering work, including installation plans and tool orders
