About the role

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer-selected options and configurations for technical and manufacturing feasibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impact assessments and mitigation plans to reduce factory disruptions
  • Lead manufacturability assessment workshops for complex commodities to ensure designs meet installation requirements
  • Develop and implement sequenced installation processes for new designs and out-of-sequence work
  • Deliver status reports on parts, production paperwork, tooling, and engineering releases
  • Coordinate with Operations to communicate upcoming changes and ensure factory readiness
  • Support and track engineering changes related to installation and certification
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on ergonomics, assembly efficiency, and product quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related work experience (for Mid-Level/Level 3 roles)
  • Experience in Configuration Development & Management
  • Proficiency in Change Management processes
  • Familiarity with aircraft Interiors and Systems (Wiring, Electrical, Software, Paint)
  • Knowledge of various Procurement Types and their impact on production
