Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review engineering requirements and drawings to provide manufacturability and producibility feedback
• Investigate technical problems and participate in the implementation of Lean principles
• Interface with internal customers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop products and skills
• Establish make/buy plans for aircraft electrical components and wire bundles
• Author and update electrical installations and modifications shop floor work instructions
• Support the Bombers B52 CERP Program by interfacing with key electrical suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience researching and analyzing engineering data
• Experience creating manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings for manufacturability feedback
• Experience with GOLDesp or similar Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Experience with WIRS
• Experience establishing make/buy plans for aircraft electrical components
• Existing Top Secret Security Clearance (SAP)
